Multivariable Calculus Student

To progress further into my rigorous engineering curriculum, I enrolled in Math S-21a: Multivariable Calculus with Professor Oliver Knill. The final course project required students to input class-learned formulas into Mathematica to create a unique image. I created A Four-Leaf Clover, as shown above.

Undergraduate Researcher

At the Lauren O’Connell Laboratory, I isolated insect DNA from the Dendrobates tintorius’s (poisonous dart frogs) stomach content to better understand the poison’s enzymatic mechanism. This research was vital towards learning how the frog’s diet impacts the development of their poison.

Camera Layout Designer

To track the rare parental care behavior of poisonous dart frogs, I designed a quick camera system that was implemented within the amphibian facility. This improvement facilitated the proper handling and care of the D. tintorius, ranging from egg to adult grown frog.
